This beer pours quite black, and seems to be a thinner pouring beer. The head is 2 finger, tan, frothy, with amazing retention. There's really nice lacing on the glass as the head dissipates, slowly.
The nose is slightly piney, with a slight malt aroma also. Not too strong of a nose for this beer.
Taste - Bitter, piney flavor up front. There's a smoothness from the malt on the backside, but the pine flavor does linger.
Feel - is actually a bit watery. Not something I'd expect from such a high ABV beer. The hop feel does linger on my palate for a while, though.
This beer is ok, but I was expecting more from it.
