A generous helping of oats make this Third Wave Pale Ale dangerously drinkable. Bursting with grapefruit, orange marmalade, passion fruit, and peach.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, passion fruit and orange with sweet caramel. Great tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

16 oz. Can
ABV: 5.2%

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, guava), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, guava), pretty nice sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

From Beer Drop. No dating on the can.

Pours a hazy yellow, about an inch of foam.

I get grapefruit, orange, and some tropical fruitiness...pineapple, decent level of bitterness.

The taste is oranges, tropical fruit, grapefruit, light bitterness..reminds me of a hazy IPA in many ways. Sorry, I am not a fan of them or hazy APAs.

Light bodied to me, my other can will go to a friend. One is enough.

L - has that unfiltered but not sea-monkey density to a hazy. Still a little clarity. Decent but not huge head, little lacing.
S - Good dank pineapple, blueberry, and some pine-citrus notes on the nose.
T - this is where this pale, now at 5.6% (not 4.5), let me down; a bit watery for the weight really. Has all that the aroma promises, but cut down on complexity. Bit of a surprise, really, given how great their pale ales usually are. Hopefully a one-off incident.
F - good rounded, balanced juice to bitterness; good carbonation, but not much complexity in mouth and on palate.
O - a good pale, won't buy again unless I get a taste of the batch first. Nice to see in cans around Colorado Springs.

Crowler canned 3/4. Served cold into a pint glass.

I had a taster of this at the brewery and liked it enough to get a crowler to go. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with an inch of white head after a vigorous pour. Settles fairly quickly and leaves some spotty lace.

Aroma is sweet, fruity, and hoppy with a pleasant citrus and tropical fruit character.

Flavor has similar fruity character with mild bitterness and good balance.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and creamy with perfect carbonation. The balance and drinkability is outstanding.

Overall a great hazy pale ale and just so crushable. Glad I got a crowler because I could drink this all night.
