wow this is epic, thanks to the boys for the share, this is right up there with the best beers these guys have ever made, stands out as majorly unique in a crowded and samey style space, and also rises with the cream in terms of overall quality, i was totally blown away by this. 2019 vintage, it is essentially barrel aged work from home with vanilla and cinnamon, and this time with a coffee from ethiopia. not all of these have aged will, some are downright infected drain pours already, but this is immune to that, its clean and right, and its aged super well so far. the vanilla is ahead of the cinnamon in the nose, its epic with all the dark chocolate and coffee roasted intensity, makes it rich and decadent but no more sugary, the cinnamon warms it up and makes it kind of wintery and cozy, epic with all the maple in here. no real sign of its alcohol strength either, with is kind of true with all of these, but especially here. its so smooth to drink on, crushed velvet meets a weighted blanket on the palate, it doesnt stick to the teeth despite all the maple either. the coffee doesnt seem too faded, packs some needed and balancing bitterness, and there is chocolate all through here too to me, high end and organic, infinite nuance to this and it warms up amazingly well. tons of vanilla, natural but massive, a hint of licorice in the middle, cigar, its remarkable really. i dont want it to be gone. we had an all time weekend of beer drinking and this bottle stands out as in the top couple of the dozens and dozens we enjoyed, one i will not soon forget. i hope to encounter this one again in the future, its one of the few cerebral beers i have had that is truly worth the hype around it. world class.

Dark brown appearance with a slight tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a very pleasant maple and a touch of coffee and vanilla. Taste is a very smooth blend of predominantly maple with a touch of coffee and vanilla. A little thin.

On tap at the brewery on release day. Aroma is maple syrup and bourbon barrel. Flavor could have passed for the Breckenridge Barrel Aged Work From Home. I could barely pick up on the vanilla or cinnamon. Good beer.
