16 oz. Can
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice hazy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, malty, hoppy, with some pretty nice citrus complex (pineapple, tangerine, mango), bready, slight oak, spicy. The taste is pretty nice, malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice citrus complex (pineapple, tangerine, mango), pretty nice touch of oakyness/bready, spicy. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty well, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. Definitely a different take on the style.

Good memories with this one, an excellent foeder pilsner. Highly enjoyable and drinkable. Definitely would be a go to for me.
Man I miss Cerebral. This was so good, I've had non foeder pilsners that were great but this is a colorado beer I miss. Everything you'd want in the style

Original March 10th, 2021 ratings and score: 3.75 3.75 3.75 3.75 3.75 (overall: 3.69)
The looks are a bit more degraded, primarily a thinner, soapier looking head. The aroma is certainly stronger, bolder; fuller, richer malt smell with a light touch of sweetness. Nicer overall flavor; bold hop bitterness. Mouthfeel seems about the same.
With a new label but no canning date, this isn't a new beer, but I suspect it might be a tad fresher than the one tried earlier this year. The smell and taste come across fuller, more rounded in character. The looks suffer a bit with a rather anemic head although it is lasting and does leave some decent sheeting in the glass. The ABV has jumped up to 5.7% per the current can label (vice the original 5.2% of my first review).
Poured at 56 °F; no canning data seen on the label.
---------------
Golden yellow body; very lively carbonation; thin yet frothy white head. Very mild aroma; light cereal grain; faint grassy/herbal notes. Nice taste; mild cereal grain base; quiet sweetness; light hop bitterness presence; bread crust. Medium body; soft and warm overall; fine balance between deft sweetness and low-key dryness.
This is a pleasant and unassuming pilsner. Nothing really stands out positively or negatively. And that ain't bad. Enjoyable.

Fantastic variant Feb 2021 as a Foeder Pils at 5.6% - a little rounder, richer, and maltier without losing the snappy cracker aspects of a good Pils. A little woodsy sweetness might distract a few Pils lovers but this is top notch. Magic in wood casks.

Clear yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Duvel tulip. Green pepper aroma with straw and a whiff of pine. Quite sweet and grainy. Clean and tangy with a dry finish. It's just more robust and malty than a lot of Pilsners. There's just a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit yeasty tasting. From the 16 oz can purchased in southern California.

L:. Pours a slightly cloudy straw yellow with a creamy white head and a few fingers of lacing.
S:. Lemongrass, some baked bread, tropical fruit and a bit of pine. Fairly hoppy for a pilsner.
T: A nice sweet breadiness, mixes with some lemongrass, citrus and a medium floral bitterness.
F:. Light and crisp
O:. A little hoppy but this is a nice pilsner.
