i have a lot of love and respect for cerebral, but the hoppy stuff has never been what they do best. its cool they got with bottle logic on this, but i dont know the hoppy styles to be their best category either, and i was insanely disappointed with this, on draft at asbury provisions last night, i could barely drink it. its hazy and flat looking in the pint glass, really raw and unrefined looking, and it smells like a cashed bowl or a gross resin hit or something, a burnt hoppy weedy thing thats just unappealing. i get a milled lumber thing from the hops, stale pot when i taste it, a lot of bitterness and a really soggy cereal finish with some oily hop intensity but not an agreeable flavor to it. i just keep thinking of a dirty weed pipe, bong water, thats the taste for me. some zesty orange freshness for a flash is the only part i really like. it has better carbonation than it looks like it does, and its not as heavy either, but the feel cant save the flavor, which lingers bitter on the tongue and just kind of disgusting to me. i expected so much more from this, but they should be ashamed of it. how can you release this? nobody can taste this and actually think its good, and if they can, we have really lost our way, this is not good. it actually turns my stomach.

On tap on release day. I think this is too fresh. Nice juiciness. Pineapple and mango. Earthy. A little bitterness. A little too green. This will be good in a few weeks.
