500ml bottle. Label has bottled on date of '08/1618'.
Dark rose pink colored body. Fizzy head lasted about twenty seconds. No lacing.
Aroma of plum and dark grape. Oak barrel is there.
Taste is red wine-like, especially at the end of the profile. Lots of grape. The tug of war between sour and sweet finally is settled in favor of sweet and savory (slight meat tone). Solid oak barrel.
Thicker mouth feel, sort of like a light syrup, with some stickiness. Very good supportive carbonation.
Highly flavored, with a rolling number of presentations. Properly done oak barreled wild ale.
