Monsters at midnight
Tan head. Fades quickly. Thick, oily, black color.
Fudge, bourbon, char, oak, marzipan up front and the almonds are in the finish. Not super heavy on the adjuncts which is nice. Just great barrel flavors and chocolate notes. Some molasses, caramel, and dark cherry notes. Excellent.

Had it at the Denver Rare beer event. Dark appearance with nice tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a very pleasant combination of chocolate and vanilla. Taste is a rich combination of chocolate and vanilla with a touch of alcohol burn. If I had a bottle, I would let it sit in the bottle for a few months.
