Had on tap. Shimmering black body with a light brown cap. Hot rum and wood with molasses leads the nose, with bourbon and coconut supporting, concerned about how hot this will taste and feel. Huge rum with almost a gingerbread flavor (found out later this was nutmeg), coconut, licorice, oak, leather, cola, chocolate, oak, molasses, a hint of lime juice. It is weird but it works! Feel is very warm verging on hot, cuts into the ability to enjoy the super complex taste which is a shame, chewy. Weird but I want to have less heat so I can dive into the depths more

L: Pours a slick oily black with small tan head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Toasted coconut leads first, followed by a sweet key lime, notes of rum and bourbon intermix with chocolate and toasted malt and ends with nutmeg
T: Brown sugar with the rum, vanilla and the bourbon mix together, led to coconut, nutmeg and lime, leads to a very interesting unique tropical leaning stout.
F: Smooth creamy mouthful and larger body.
O: This is a very unique stout that as weird as it sounds works very well.

On tap. Black color. Parish collab.
This beer is awesome. The best tiki stout I’ve had. Love the coconut, nutmeg, and patella sugar. Lime is minimal. Rum outshines the bourbon barrels, but everything here works. So smooth for how high of abv it is. Delish.
