16 oz. Can
Canned On: 12/07/23
ABV: 8%
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which also leaves some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, apricot, guava), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, apricot, guava), pretty nice sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on can that I could see. According to the label, this iteration of Cloud Types is 8% ABV with Motueka, HBC 1019, and Southern Cross hops.
Appearance: light golden-yellow hue with a thick haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Seems legit!
Smell: slightly sweet malt with an earthy, almost dank hop character. The hop aromas meld with the sweetness to create a juicy kind of synergy, with a little bit of tropical fruit and maybe passionfruit. It's really good!
Taste: dankish, tropical-ish hops and sweet malt, and just a little bit of booziness. There's definitely a rich juice to this guy. It's definitely to my taste but there's a heaviness to the booze that almost seems above its 8%. So, good, but not great.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and a very smooth creaminess. This is where the big malt bill really shines.
Overall: a solid imperial hazy IPA. OK, so the label does not really market it as a hazy, but it has a lot of the hazy traits. So, a good beer, maybe a little boozy.
