8 ball black with a thick quarter pipe ridge around a wispy surface.
The lack of rye barrel here--plus perhaps its freshness--seems to allow the adjuncts to rule the roost in that its quite a bit more pastry forward than the 2020 bottle, encouraging a chocolate cake dunked in whiskey sort of profile.
Still, it's quite tasty.
