Pitch black body with a brown ring. Smells like a bourbon barrel aged almond Joy, awesome. Taste like a bourbon barrel aged almond joy. I think the nose brings off vanilla more, the taste the wood and caramel more. The barrel character really starts to show off as it warms, wow. Feel is thick and warm, sticky, heavy. I feel like I’ve had this type of stout style many times, but this one was executed at a very high level, bravo! Beer: it's what's for dessert!
