This is a collab beer between two of my favorite breweries, so I knew I had to try and catch it while still on tap. It isn't like anything either of them make normally, which made it a great experiment. Were this beer to be sweeter, you could almost call it a Marzen, but it's not that at all - instead you get a lot of spicy hop flavor on the back end of a pretty mellow front end. This was very interesting and I wonder if they will do more work in the future. I sure hope so.
