Roxbury, Cheshire County. Home to Nye Hill Farm. Home to Schoolhouse #3, where Salmon P. Chase briefly taught in 1823 before moving on to become the Secretary of the Treasury and later the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Home to the Babbidge, Otter Brook, Woodward Pond and Stone Dams. Roxbury, “A Good Dam Town”. This Double IPA celebrates its history, spirit and sense of community.

22 oz. Bomber..which feels like a relic these days.
Robury is the neighboring little village to the east of Keene, NH. Once concidered a ghost town after a population colapse after the civil war.
8.6. Abv%.
Not exactly sure what the color is here, it's a muddy, brownish thing, with some slight amber and golds. A strange tint for sure. The activity is high, creates a full 3" white foam. Slow dissipation with decent coverage and a bit of sticky lacing.
The nose has some wild fruity aroma's, red berries, citrus tones, sweet and citrus, mild piney notes, a slick, maple sweet hint of malted barley. The malt plays a major role here, but the hops deliver a decent punch too.
A medium bodied but crisp bite and feel oes a long way. A sweet, amber-malty thing seems to pop out first for me, then some piney, leafy-dry hop flavor's ride on in. Bitter tones to the hops, dry earth, very leafy hop effects. The sweet and fruity is all in the nose. Citrus and pine, along with dry leafy hops mix with a bit of tingly heat....not bad for a high 8.6 % abv though. The finish is all dry, bitter and earthy with a slight malty kick right at the very end.
The brewers at Nye Hill in tiny Roxbury, NH only have very small batches and are a local favorite. A nano brewery to be sure, beer is brewed on a historic farm, and most likey brered in a barn. To that end, this is a seriously enoyable beer. Comes a cross like a very good "home brew" ....simple with a limited complexity but seriously interesting anyway.

Almost brilliant light golden color with a decent sized long lasting bubbly white head. Initially the aroma was fantastic with tropical fruit and citrus dripping out of the glass sadly a little warming brought out a crap ton of diacetyl. Sweet bready light caramel malt lingering harsh bitterness. the recipe or the process needs a bit of work here.
