Bought bomber from Fresh Market Feb 2016. Didn't realize Milly's is now selling under three separate brand names.
Looks pretty good, dark murky brown with low brown head, falls quickly into moderate lacing.
Smell some cocoa, alcohol, something slightly metallic. No hops noted.
Taste is minimal - no chocolate or fruitiness up front, just a strong sour. May be an infected bottle, though no funkiness seems apparent, just straight (lacto?) sour. Slight dark chocolate in the aftertaste. Overall awful, drain pour. Not at all what I would expect from a "double chocolate stout."
Mouthfeel ok, slightly thin. Overall undrinkable.

Bottle from Bert's
Dark brown with a decent sized tan bubbly head that dissipates quickly. Milk chocolate and roast on the nose with a bit of caramel and tobacco. Flavor follows quite well and adds a bit of smoke. Not too shabby for an over the top chocolate beer.
