From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on April 3, 2016.
Dark brown to near black pour under a huge tan head. The head fades some but it takes a while.
The aroma is what you would expect with a bit of chocolate, a bit of spearmint, and some roasted dark malts bu8t nearly no hop profile.
Thin to medium body.
I was hopping to get the same vivacious flavors as I got in the aroma but it was not the case. The chocolate and mint were downplayed to the point of oblivion and there was a sort of yeasty character gumming up the works. No bitterness to end.

Bottle from a Lazy Dog
Dark brown with a smallish tightly bubbled tan head that dissipates quickly. Peppermint and chocolate on the nose dominate my nostrils. Think thin mints or girl scout cookies. The flavor starts out like cookies then into the finish its a bit of roast and then its all peppermint and turns more like the chewing gum flavor. I've had a couple peppermint beers before and this one is probably the most well done. I think this would work even better if the base beer had a bit more residual sugar and finish was a little less dry.
