From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on July 15, 2016.

Absolutely ridiculous exploding foam on the pour. It was gusher and that bothered me, which is why I gave the look a lower mark. Once I could finally see the beer under all that foam it was pale yellow in color.

But the aroma was on the mark with a decent German Pilsener toasted bread character and a little cut grass.

The body as light.

Decent toasted bread and biscuit flavor with a clean, crisp finish. If it hadn't turned me off when I poured it I might have rated it higher.

From a 22oz bottle. The label advises me that it is 'Best Enjoyed Fresh' but does not provide a bottled on date. Served in a pils.

Pours a bright honey-golden hue with high clarity, one or maybe two big, random bubbles of carbonation and a scanty head with little retention.

Smell is sharply yeasty, white grape juice, bright, crackery malts, and clean straw.

The taste is sweet and sticky, white bread, white grapes, kiwi and grassy herbs with a timid little hop bite at the finish.

Mouthfeel is heavy, dull and flat - carbonation is somewhere between very-low and nil.

Overall, this would have been a tasty little beverage with just a bit more carbonation to liven it up. As it was, the unremitting flatness of the brew made it a chore to finish the bottle. I DID, however, finish the bottle.
