From the 650 ml. bottle with no date shown. Sampled on February 19, 2018.
Attractive looking mahogany-amber heady color with good clarity for an unfiltered beer.
The aroma has a sort of sweet toffee malt and melon combination with a a vague earthy hop presence.
The body is smooth and medium or better.
Solid sweet toffee and malted malt sweetness in the taste with a wonderfully clean, crisp and mildly butter finale.

Bottle from the Lazy Dog
Pours a hazy deep brown color with a small off white head that has to be coaxed out. Rich caramel and toffee on the nose with hints of earth. The flavor is more rich toffee and caramel with hints of pitted fruit some of that earth and a hint of molasses and a light astringency. This ones no too shabby.
