Grupo Cruzcampo “Session Tremanda”
330 ml can coded “03/09/24. L3247724L20:12”. Sampled on 27/11/23.
€0,89 @ Carrefour Express, Sevilla, ES
Look: A clear golden body reveals plenty of quick rising bubbles beneath a finger’s width of white foam. The head retention and lacing are both good.
Smell: The aroma is of a basic, grassy and grainy nature. It is an adjunct lager, made with corn, and there’s a little bit of a cooked malt character similar to that found in some non-alcoholic beers.
Taste: As the aroma suggests, it’s a basic grainy malt base with some additional herbal and spicy hops added in. The same cooked malt flavor remains. A firm bitterness leads to a dry finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: Given the flavor and the alcohol content I’m not sure why you would just drink either a completely non-alcoholic beer or a slightly stronger one like the Cruzcampo Del Sur at 4.5%.

30 Septiembre 2022.
