Los Christianos, Tenerife 15/3 2016. 33 cl bottle from local supermarket. Bottle without label but with the logo stamped into bottle.
Pours light amber with a white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. A little lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is sugary sweet and malty. A little fermented fruit and alcohol as well.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Lively and tingling texture.
Flavor follows the nose. Quite sweet with discrete booziness like a bit of brandy has been involved in the process. Almost no bitterness.
Not terribly interesting - but quite a bargain compared to many other Spanish beers.

Dark golden colour, rather clear. White head, high, moderately persistent. Fine bubbles melt into a thin layer, nicely coating the glass.
Sweet malty aroma, slightly biscuity, very pleasant (oh, I haven't had a beer in a long time).
The taste is definitely dry with a slightly sweet (malty) background. The hop bitterness is distinct and forms the basis of this beer.
Medium carbonation. Medium to full body. Smooth texture. Long, malty, dry aftertaste.

Grupo Cruzcampo S.A. “Cruzcampo Gran Reserva”
33 cl can coded 11/10/23 and sampled on 24/11/23
Look: A mainly clear dark amber body is capped by a short head of white foam. The head retention is average to better than average, and the lacing is very good.
Smell: The aroma is malty, fruity, and herbal.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma with a lot of added fruitiness that’s like apple and red grape over sweetish cereal malt. Leafy, herbal, and grassy malts round it out. A firm bitterness balances it and it finishes mainly dry with those leafy, herbal, and grassy hops lingering.
Feel: In the mouth it’s medium bodied and gently crisp.
Overall: Somehow this beer is not quite pulled together. It’s in balance but it’s not quite what I call ‘rounded’ as its different components seem to stand on their own rather than meshing together. It’s not bad but it’s not great, and I do appreciate that it’s a bigger and more full of flavor beer than you normally find on the market in España.

330 ml bottle, from Super Cor, La Manga. Pure malt beer, ABV is 6.4%. Deep golden to brown colour, moderate white head. Aroma of herbal hops, malts (including some caramel malts) and cloves. The flavour is fairly malty with a hint of caramel, herbal hops in the finish. Not bad for Spain.

Bought at the Supermarket in Spain. 33 cl bottle poured into a globlet. Foam is very present at the beginning but fades away very quickly. The colour is reddish but fairly transparent.
Cereal smell, maybe leafy it is not an enjoyable smell.
It does have a bitter taste but not particularly remind of anything.
The mouthfeel is rather raw.
It is not worst experience of your life, but I wouldn't recommend it.
