On tap in Bilbao.
Pale golden body with a small, white head, mostly diminishing with no lacing.
Light malty aroma (grains) with hoppy notes.
Mainly bitter flavour with some light malty sweetness.
Light-to-medium body with a dry texture; flat carbonation.

On draft. Look is quite a small thin head. Body is a murky yellow. Smell a little non descript. This starts pretty badly with a nasty alcohol kick on the first sip but settles down. Taste usual high corn syrup but balanced with a bit of hop extract and malt. It finishes okay despite a bad start. Quite crisp and dry on the palate. It is standard Euro pale fare but it’s not a bad choice for a session down the boozer.

I fell in love with this Lager while spending my vacation in Cordoba Spain. It had the perfect amount of bitterness to bring out great flavor. Not a heavy beer at all. Really wish I could get this beer in th U.S.A.

On tap in Malaga (also: ubiquitous all over Andalucia). Served in a half pint (imperial) glass. Beer pours crystal clear and yellow in color, with moderate foaming from the tap, but no head retention worth mentioning. Negligible aroma. Flavor is... off-crisp? Not dry or flavorful, and only a little bit of cereal sweetness to offend the senses. Bad, but not horrible. Still, it's got enough to it to cut through greasy fried Cazon or Flamenquin (as was the case for me tonight), which I suppose is the whole point. I didn't take much in the way of notes on the various draught beers I sampled in Spain, but I suspect Alhambra Especial was the clear winner among the few.
