Growler into a snifter, also had on tap.
Pours a dark orange/amber, cloudy with a small head. Some soapy lacing and a fair amount of agitation with a lot of rising bubbles. Smell brings malt, plums, figs, dates, a little yeast. Taste also leads with the malt, figs and plums. Also some caramel, raisins, light alcohol. A little bitterness on the finish. Well carbonated, good body.
True to the style, lots of flavor, drinks easy for the ABV. A very enjoyable effort.

Taste: complex with toffee, spiced, brown sugar notes, kinda earthy.
Malty almost bready nose, Copper color and clear appearance.
Medium full body, delicate lace to head. Unique and a bit of alcohol finish to keep you warm. 35 IBUs
