I have to encourage what the brewers themselves describe as their "first barrel-aged beer and the first in our Chaos series of limited and inusual beer offerings".
Tapped at their First anniversary party.
A hazy, thick looking, orange/amber body floats a solid 1/16in layer of off-white head.
The dominant aroma is chardonnay. Well aged.
Taste is light malt, no bitter, and fermented grape. When I think farmhouse, I think wine. Just like here. I just don't prefer wine.
Mouthfeel is light with low carbonation, per the style(and the aging). A tart dry finish. Nice.
More please.
