Poured from a howler filled today into a tulip glass shows a cloudy pastel yellow body and briefly floats a 1/4in white fluffy head and leaves no lacing.

Aroma is a lavender infused funk.

Flavors are lightly lemony citrus, hint of black pepper, and the lavender.

Mouthfeel is light and clean with a wet finish.

Overall, it's gotta be cold on a hot day.
If yes, it's a winner.

This is a surprise, a good one. Pour a bright yellow, nice foamy head which does not last very long but leaves some lacing. Some clouds, not really hazy but clouds floating. The nose is the biggest surprise - based on the color you would expect sweet notes, subtle honey/melon/caramel maybe. BUT: the nose is actually what I would describe as green flavors: lime/lemon, sone vanilla, maybe some woodruf and even pinecone. The glavor profile follows suit, and the interesting is how it opens up in your palate: woodruf firat, then strong lime zest, then light vanilla, and finishes off with the pine cone and malt. Very often we are faced with me-too kind of products, or the hundredth iteration of a double dry something extra hazy soandso. But the Gardener is a very unique interpretation of a wheat ale, I did not even mention the wheat/yeast notes, but they‘re kind of the foundation if the whole thing. Very nice, I‘ll have another one, please.

Had on tap. I thought this beer had a beautiful delicate nature on the nose, with the lemon and lavender pairing wonderfully, but had enough vanilla and wit wheat to stay away from being a cleaning product smell. Taste brings out vanilla more, but overall is earthy and light. Body could use a little more wheat, but can understand not wanting to overwhelm the other flavors

Hazy opaque pastel canary yellow, finely textured foam that reappears after a quick swirl, leaving some lace around the edges. Fades to a broken skim after a couple sips, but has lasting properties.

Aroma is pleasant, light lavender and dried lemon. Tastes similar, lavender and lemon peel mainly, vanilla is in the background if at all. Lightly earthy bitterness in the finish. Smooth supple feel from the wheat. Very refreshing and easy drinking, a nice summer beer.

Taste: Big lemon citrus notes followed by lavender, some wheat and a subtle vanilla bean. Same the nose. Straw color, unfiltered, white head of delicate lattice on taster glass. Medium body. Not gritty or chewy like some wits. 18 IBUs
