Poured from a 32oz bottle filled at the brewery 18 hours ago.
Clear straw-yellow colored body floating an exciting 1in head of white foam. The body is wildly with rising carbonation feeding a persistent 1/8in head of tiny white bubbles. A variety of spotted, webbed, and soapy lacing coats the glass as the liquid is drained.
Aroma is yesterday's yeast with citrus and a more subtle black pepper hint.
Flavor develops from there to include a mix of pepper and alcohol spice. However, as it warms, the flavor drops off and it is just wet and spicy on the tongue. I don't need banana or clove, but I need something. Where did the citrus go?
Mouthfeel is medium and a dry finish.
Overall it is complex and quite good, but I was looking for more.

Taste: spiced, white pepper, sour dough, super crisp, floral, clean finish. Crackers, yeast pepper nose. Gold, clear, large white head with rings of lace. Medium body. Smooth with a kick. 35 IBUs
