12oz can poured into a pint glass shows a dirty, cloudy brownish-yellow body and briefly floats a 1/4in whitish bubble cap leaving no lacing. Some stray rising bubbles observed through the clouds bursting at the surface.
Aroma is a tropical mix of mango, pineapple, and citrus grassiness. Lemondrop and azacca hops.
Flavor is, at first the tropical fruit, but quickly replaced by the "substantial malt bill" to balance the 81 IBU and finish with a hint of lemon citrus. There is no booze in the flavor, which is dangerous given the 9.0% ABV.
Mouthfeel leans thin but full with a clean finish that is just short of dry.
Overall a very nice IIPA. All day drinkable, which as I said, is dangerous.

Taste: Big fruity hops, lemon, floral, some malt sweetness in the backbone. Semi sweet flowery, yeast nose. Gold hue, with a slight haze, white head delicate ring of lace in taster glass. Medium body. Balanced. 81 IBUs

Bright saturated orange, light haze, thin layer of foam and minimal spotty lace.
Smells like orange peel steeped in tea, and tastes about the same with a light sweetness and tea flavor.
Some light resiny bitterness, balanced well with the malt but lacking hop flavor.
Label says more malt is used to balance "an assertive use of Lemondrop and Azacca hops".
Overall ok, but it's pushing the limits of freshness at this point.
