12oz undated can poured into a bulbous pint glass shows a deep, dark, black body and briefly supports a 1/8" cap of large, cocoa colored bubbles and leaves a clean glass behind.
Nice bold almond aroma hits the biscotti note right on the head with a hint of cocoa.
Flavors are a nice blend of vanilla, almond, and cocoa up front, but a bitter finish is unsatisfying. I get the same acidity from frangelico.
Mouthfeel leans a fuller medium coming just short of coating the tongue.
Overall, I want to like it, as it has a lot going for it, but maybe some oats can take out the acidity.(?)
