This New England style IPA really brings the funk. It makes me long for another loaf of stone ground wheat bread served with plenty of butter at a casual, yet authentic seafood restaurant at the south Jersey shore. If Metallica drank good beer, they would for sure drink this. It’s aggressive, like a drunken Patriots fan who is still extremely upset with Tom Brady. The foam is thick and persistent. I recommend enjoying one with an extra large serving of lobster bisque.

16 fl oz. can, I don't see a date, but these were just dropped fresh at the local beer spot. A "Hazy IPA" with Sultana, Citra Cryo, and Vic Secret hops.
Poured to a stemless wine snifter.
A: Pour is thick & hazy. Passes the New England test. Head is white, frothy, and leaves excellent scattered lacing.
S: Aroma has weight. It's creamy & thick, it's got some hot fusel alcohol, it's got fruit, berries, citrus, notes of caramel malts..
T: Pretty meh, as the others have said. Slightly herbal, grassy, tons of citrus, berries. It's been dry-hopped to hell, what else is there to say, really?
F: It's smooth & drinkable, though not quenching. Body is filling & heavy, carbonation is okay. It's dry, sticky, & sweet on the finish.
Overall, another super average Hazy IPA, in a never ending sea of super average Hazy IPA's....

Released 3/1/19; drank 3/22/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a small off-white head; frothy lace.
Table sugar & orange citrus notes in the nose.
Sticky medium thick mouthfeel.
Orange peel, dry wheat & table sugar flavors.
Yet another middling "hazy IPA" from Chicago. Hop Butcher's success must really irk them...

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 fl oz can on March 18, 2019. Norwegian hazy IPA brewed with Denali, Vic Secret and Strata hops. Notes of pineapple, citrus and passionfruit.
