500 ml bottle into a snifter. Late April 2019 release, had 4/18/20. Also had on tap when released.
Pours a dark brown, opaque, with no head and light, spotty cling. Aromas of coffee, bourbon, chocolate, malt, some vanilla, some oak. Flavors are mostly the same- coffee, bourbon, malt, chocolate, some oak, a little vanilla. Smooth, a decent full body, appropriately carbonated on the low side, feels a little thin overall.
Seemed a bit better on tap. Maybe this hasn’t aged well. Good coffee and barrels. Still enjoyable, but concerned about the drop off. Would certainly have this on tap again.

Appearance - The beer poured a deep black color with a dark mocha colored head.
Smell - The nose was deep and rich with coffee notes. It was better than fresh coffee.
Taste - at the front, I got black licorice and chocolate. The coffee was present, but not in a way I expected. The deep sweetness carried to the aftertaste. It was not overly sweet or cloying.
Mouthfeel - there was a great party on this one. No carbonation went to vicious viscosity.
Overall - This was my first brew from the brewery, and I really enjoyed it.
