16oz undated bottle from 2019 release poured into a tulip glass shows a murky deep mahogany body and almost floats a 1/8in cinnamon-brown cap of foam that quickly evaporates into the ether bursting with barrel notes as it goes. Vanilla aroma is obvious under the bourbon and stops short of candy.

Flavors match with the vanilla rounding out the barrel notes without being a blanket.

Mouthfeel is smooth, short of creamy, yet gives a sense of coating the tongue. A warming in the throat and chest is nice.

Overall an amazingly easy drinking, warming, bourbon influenced stout.
