This could have been a perfectly run of the mill high ABV stout, but the shuddering sweetness and lumpy residue on the bottom of the beer made for an altogether unpleasant drinking experience.

As I poured the lighter black body with a light brown head, I read about flavors of roasted marshmallow, toffee, raspberry, baker's chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry. I smelled raspberry, chocolate and lots of campfire smoke. Dubious delivery based on this, and sure enough in the taste I instead got smoke, ashtray, burnt caramel, dutch processed cocoa, hot booze, with sickly sweet raspberry pile-driving it all at the end, a raging and unbalanced disaster. Body was smoky, uneven, messy, and hot. Drain pour.
