Taste: Deep roasted coffee, dark chocolate malts, earthy, dry mellow finish. Earthy coffee beans, molasses nose. Blackish red hue, opaque mostly, tan head with nice webbed lattice. Medium/light to medium body. Had a kick at the end.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date. Near black body is capped by a foamy tan head. Nice aroma of coffee, cocoa, and grain. Coffee is at the forefront of the flavors, which is much appreciated; dark cocoa, toasted grain, caramel, ashy & charred roasted barley, and earthy hops round out the flavors. Fuller body, moderate carbonation, exceptionally balanced beer all around. One of the best ones I've had from Miskatonic actually.
