Taste: Rich, nutty, toffee, smokey, dry coffee, dark chocolate, molasses, boozy bite. Toasted malty, raisins earthy nose. Black, opaque, tan delicate head and lace. Full body. Complex and yummy.

From Untapped: "Clocking in at 12% abv, this stimulated version of our base stout, Revenant packs in even more warming chocolate, roasted coffee and dark fruit vibes than its smaller brother. Enjoy! "
Poured from recently filled howler shows a deep, dark brown, headless body and leaving a clean glass behind.
Aromas of roast malts with a coffee focus and hints of chocolate seamlessly flow into the taste. Booze is deceptive here with neither warmth nor heat, but does hover in the roof of the mouth. It is not merely a coffee stout, as the roasty malts distinguish themselves.
A full, silky mouth feel leaves a sticky cocoa memory but otherwise finishes clean.
Overall a nice upgrade to the base stout.
