Bursting from the barrel with a wave of dark chocolate, freshly ground cinnamon, and fresh-cracked espresso beans, BA Gelatinous Cube is a bold beer for our resident coffee fanatics. Surpassing its little brother in strength, this 12% stout warms the soul with toasty, vanilla-laden bourbon tones. But, it's never too warm for an imperial stout.

Taste: Complex, rich, robust cinnamon, espresso coffee, lactose, creamy chocolate, vanilla, Bourbon bite, ends smooth. Sweet mocha, cinnamon, vanilla malty nose. Black, completely opaque, delicate tan head with ringed lace. Full bot not heavy body. Loved the barrel aged version.

500 ml bottle into a snifter. Released 6/11/21, had 6/19/21.
Pours near black and mostly opaque, thick looking, with a brief head and light specks of cling. Aromas of cinnamon, chocolate, coffee, malt, some vanilla. Similar flavors- cinnamon, chocolate, malt, vanilla, some bourbon, some coffee- more as it warms. Smooth, a little bit of a thin and watery feel, carbonated on the low side.
The aromas and flavors are very good, but the barrels are mostly non- participating and the thin feel is a kind of a negative.
