12oz undated can from recent release poured into a pint glass shows a clear, dark orangish, brown amber body. An aggressive pour produces a 2" tall head of eggnog colored mixed bubbles that recedes to an edge-hugging ring and leaves a clean glass behind.
Aroma of roasted malt dominates with a hint of nuttiness and the flavor matches. I might be imagining toffee and dark fruit notes, but I appreciate the addition to my appreciation.
Mouthfeel is full but not quite creamy, clearing the palate cleanly.
Overall a nice example of a standard style.

Released 3/11/22; drank 4/24/22 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly opaque brown/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge khaki head; decent lace.
Acorn, mild brown sugar & faint caramel syrup notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
A metallic flavor up front, followed by caramel syrup, mild acorn & faint brown sugar flavors.
A mess.
