16oz undated can poured into a krug boasts an opaque, yet clear dark, ruby (moreso when backlit) body and floats a prodigious head of fluffy cream colored foam that recedes to a persistent lumpy cap and leaving stepped clumps of lacing. This was not really an aggressive pour, but neither did I tip the krug.
Aromas and flavors of pumpernickel bread precede a light, almost crisp body that would be a great match with most any bar food, from pizza, burgers, and salad to ceviche and tacos.
Overall a nice drinking, clean, dark lager.

"Best by 10/7/22"; drank 6/5/22 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dark brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE khaki head (careful pouring!); nice, frothy lace.
Dill pickle & light roast coffee bean notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dill pickle & mild coffee flavors; this is no Schwarzbier, but tastes like a poorly made Black IPA.
I've had my last.
