Massive free-standing sheet steel building cut into the side of a hill on the east side of town. Two levels, downstairs there is an L-shaped bar that is half service, half seating, a half dozen tables about the room, and additional seating on a patio. Upper overlooks the taproom and has more table seating. 18 beers on tap. Efficient service.

gorgeous establishment here, the place looks brand new, almost with a fingerlakes winery aesthetic, open spaces, lots of wood, high ceilings, some lofted seating area, a more refined look here than the other breweries in town, brand new equipment shining behind the bar, a neat place to be sure. they had an ambitious sounding beer list too, a wet hopped offering and a cabernet beer that were both very nice, while the honey cream and some of the other hoppy ones left a bit to be desired. i think its interesting the disparity in objective quality on this beer menu, like some of these beers are fantastic, while others really are pretty poor by any measure, there is plenty of room for improvement but also lots of promise. service was fine here, everyone seemed in good spirits, and it seems like they have a pretty good business going here. i know in a small town a brewery has to be flexible to what the locals like, and i think they have a nice balance on their menu. its amazing how beer has blown up in montana, it really is happening everywhere! this place has some growing into their shoes to do a little bit, but its a beautiful place and im sure its only a matter of time.

Nice space, mix of wood and industrial feel. Lots of copper accents on the bar and the tanks you can see. Thick wooden bar. There is a 2nd floor with more tables, and an event room.
They had 8 beers on plus root beer. The flight of 4 beers I had were all good. Good service. Overall a very nice space. And a great view out the front windows of the valley and mountains.

If you can only visit one of the breweries in Butte visit Butte Brewing! Very solid beer across the board. I had an imperial IPA on nitro that was very good. And a sweet stout that was very good as well. They had several on tap and I tasted most of them. Not a bad one in the bunch. It's obvious the owners have put in quite an effort both in their brewery and in their beers. Nothing bad to say here. Staff was good, but could have been a little better educated on the fine points of the recipes, but hey good beer is still good beer! Overall, this place has a future.
