2021 vintage on draft at The Community Tap not far from the defunct brewery in Greenville, SC.
Clear dark ruby colored body with a decent beige head. Candy and fruit notes in the intriguing aroma. The flavor of bittersweet; mildly bitter overall. There's faint smoke along with hints of chocolate, dark roast, and dark dried fruits.
My last beer from this decreased brewery?

L: super carbonated....3 fingers of head on a half pour. Looks black in the glass
S: sweet lacto milk chocolate. I don't get much maple.
T: just like the nose but not as sweet. Not a fan
F: way too much carbonation to enjoy for me.

Look: Solid dark beer. Beautiful darkness which is allusive and sexy. What secrets are you keeping?
Smell: Smells like an imperial stout with a hint of sweetness, chocolate and coffee hints
Taste: An impressive stout. It has been the stout I have been searching for all winter. Bodied, flavorful, great taste as you're drinking. Great taste after you swallow ;P If I could, this would be my winter beer for my entire life. I'm so inspired by this dark beauty I might 'fly south' myself for more.
