From a 16 oz can at the 2023 Clemson Beer Festival hosted by Kite Hill Brewery.
Pours clear, very dark reddish-brown with a short beige head.
Apparently, there are chili peppers in this spicy stout. It has a nice mild+ burn that melds well with the aroma and flavor. Distinct bold flavor. Well hidden ABV.

This one's a bit of a conundrum for me.
L: black, thick - not really a head
S: Honestly, my first impression was soy sauce, which probably didn't help things.
T: Quite a bit going on, and as mine was over 14% ABV, very strong alcohol taste
F: Yeah, not a fan.
I feel like I admire this beer more than I like it? I enjoy a good stout, but this is just too much for my palate.

Look - Pitch black. No real head to speak of other than thin light brown ring.
Smell - Pepper and cocoa on the nose. Somewhat subtle scents though.
Taste - Huge flavor profile. Lots of chocolate up front with some spice at the back of the throat. Extremely malty without a lot of the bourbon burn.
Feel - Like chocolate syrup, or oil. Very heavy. Not my favorite mouth feel.
Overall - Pretty good flavors and has the look but the mouth feel is a bit off-putting. Overall, I always enjoy a big stout and this certainly fits the bill.

I had the German chocolate cake version, 14.5% ABV. Look is oily pitch black with little tan mocha head to speak of. Aroma is slight bourbon with chocolate and vanilla following. The taste is light bourbon up front with the chocolate cake following. Delicious almost chewy mouthfeel. Overall this is spectacular and very well layered.
