Drinking this at The Jarvis Street Bottle Shop near beautiful downtown Greenville NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Appears dark brown with a nice foamy tan head that dropped to a thin cap with a small amount of lacing.
Smells malty sweet lightly chocolate with definite peppermint overtones.
Taste follows the nose nicely with the peppermint building as it warms.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall, it's the first peppermint stout that I think I've ever had, it's definitely not something to session, but I might order again.
