Served in nonic. poured a bright, clean, clear red, with a slight amber tint, with 2/3 inch of tan head that had very good retention and lacing.
The aroma and flavors were slightly sweet malts, and citrus hops. Fairly typical.
The body was on the light side of medium, and had a medium finish.
Drinkability was fine, no issues on the palate.
Overall, a pretty average take on the style. worth a shot if you're in the mood.

A good/great solid red ale. Been quite awhile since I had one that I wanted more of. Look is a darker red than yr avg with the aroma a tasty toasted malt and hint of bread. Taste is a crisp malt herbal. Has the slightest of bite at the start that goes down smooth and lingers on the tongue smooth too. Overall I quite enjoyed this.
