Dark brown, nearly opaque in the tall goblet. Rather sweet, as you'd expect. Light body with creamy carbonation. Surprisingly watery mouthfeel. Roasted malt flavor with a grainy edge, like a touch of oatmeal with some old coffee. A little bitterness in the aftertaste but nothing like hop flavor. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.
