Served in Nonic. Poured a clean, clear amber-gold color with a half-inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma had nice base grains and lightly citrusy hops.
On the tongue, things were the same, with the hops being brighter and bolder.
The body was the typical medium of the style, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was fine, I could see having a few more of these.
Overall, a pretty solid take on the classic APA, no trends or tricks, just a solidly enjoyable beer.

Clear amber with plenty of foam in the Troubadour tulip. Pleasantly malt with a bit of sweetness and some biscuit flavor cut with a little resiny hops. Some green notes like green beans, green mango, and celery. Flowery nose. This is a highly drinkable and rather traditional kind of Pale Ale. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.
