DATE: July 29, 2022... OCCASION: watching Top Gun with the family in anticipation of Top Gun II... GLASSWARE: Schneider Weiss pokal... this pours a sallow yellow body that maintains a modicum of tiny bubbles that builds a two-fingered fluffy white head dissipates into a pencil-thin mustache... not really distinguishing in its appearance... orange and coriander, yes--soft but aromatic... the yeasts make this bright and punchy... very crisp in its finish--a welcome experience... a bit of cracker floats in the background... its mouthfeel is equally pillowed, perfectly drinkable in its style... perfect for a night like this, it refreshes with a light body and a smooth finish... enough effervescence to approach an ale... its orange, coriander, and lemon are by themselves refreshing but not overstated... each sip is bright and pleasant, without any imperfection...
