pours a golden amber with a hint of orange. It initially forms a one-finger white head that dissipates quickly but leaves decent lacing. The aroma is dominated by blood orange, with subtle notes of dough, tropical fruits, grapefruit, and grass, making it very inviting.
The taste is led by a strong blood orange flavor with a bready backbone, transitioning to an orange soda-like sweetness as it progresses. There are hints of light caramel, grapefruit, and a touch of grass, with a bit of herbiness at the finish, leaving a sweet orange taste on the tongue.
The mouthfeel is light-bodied with moderate to heavy carbonation, although slightly higher carbonation might enhance the fruity sweetness. Despite this, the overall feel is decent, creating an almost alcoholic orange soda/beer hybrid.
While not hop-heavy, the sweet orange flavors make it a pleasant brew, balancing between sweet and slightly spicy notes. The juicy blood orange dominates, supported by a subtle, nondescript base. This unique flavor profile makes Royal Blood a brew worth trying again.

12 fl oz can:
Artificial blood orange flavour redolent of tinned fruit puree.
Tastes sort of like mass produced homebrew.

Had this at the Capital One Lounge in DFW, pleasant orange flavor, low in bitterness.

Clear to start but filling to foggy burnt orange with a short and fluid off-white bubbly blanket dispersing to a headless surface.
Full of juicy blood orange flavor over an otherwise nondescript base, this is enhanced by a sting of sweet and spicy chermoya sauce.
It's tough to rate when poured with a chermoya rim, but who can complain?!

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a golden color with hints of orange. Upon pouring a one finger head of white foam forms. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave tons of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heavy of a blood orange smell mixed with a somewhat doughy smell. Along with these aromas comes some notes of tropical fruits and a little bit of a grapefruit and grassy smell. Overall the aroma is very fruity and quite inviting.
Taste – The taste begins with a big blood orange flavor that has a bit of a bready backbone. These flavors create a strong base taste for the brew and last the entirety of the flavor profile. At the start there are some flavors of light caramel and a bit of grapefruit. As the taste advances the orange takes on more of an orange soda like sweetness with some other flavors a of a light grass joining the tongue. At the very end a touch of herb arrives and with the rest leaves one with a sweet orange taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness with the carbonation level being rather average as well. A little higher of a carbonation may have been slightly better for the sweet and fruity tastes of the brew, but all in all the feel was pretty decent.
Overall – While not a hop heavy brew the sweet orange flavors were rather nice and created an almost alcoholic orange soda/beer hybrid like taste. A pretty nice brew overall and one I would certainly go back to again in the future.

Pours a very clear amber color with a finger width carbonated head that quickly dissipates. Lacing is decent. Strong orange aroma with a little bit of wheat at the end. So much orange that it seems artificial. Big artificial orange taste. Dry wheat on the end. It just doesn't pair or flow very well. Light bodied with moderate to heavy carbonation.
