12oz canned 1-9-20 (according to the tag on the 6pk holder). Purchased at the brewery 2-21-20, opened 2-26-20.
1 finger white head with very good retention on an opaque pale orange-gold NEIPA body. Early lacing abounds and continues through the full drink.
Very perfumed aroma of oranges and coconut...woody/herbal component as well. Unique and appealing nose to start.
Mild citrus flavors, orange is the main flavor, lots of secondary flavors make this a more complex drink. The coconut, herbal, woodsy theme persist in the flavor and aroma. It's a unique hop combination that produces this for sure. Second Lotus beer I've had and I'm a fan. Touch of creamsicle here as well.
Medium to full body, low perceived carbonation. Soft mouthfeel. Medium length finish, low bitterness and very little of the 7.5% abv noticeable. Spot on to style.
Very good.
