Faintly foggy pale white gold, like pineapple gummy bears, with a moderate white froth dying to a curled collar.

Yep, it surely tastes like watermelon Jolly Ranchers, but otherwise has a very mild wheat or blonde character that's not very tart for a Berliner. It's very refreshing, though, if a bit sweet.

 

 

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very lightly tinted red/pink golden color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of a sweet watermelon smell. The smell is more candy like in nature, being of a watermelon jolly rancher like smell. Along with the watermelon is a little bit of caramel and a touch of wheat. Overall, its watermelon sweet!
Taste – The taste begins with tart watermelon taste that is mixed with a sour green apple and a little bit of caramel. The sour tastes get more potent as the taste advances with the caramel getting lighter. All the while a little some funk and a bit of grass work their way onto the tongue. With the increase in sour and the loss of caramel, one is left with a sour apple-watermelon like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is high. For the sour nature and the sweeter favors of the brew the feel is good and makes for a nice crisp, but tart sipper.
Overall – A rather nice fruited sour with a tart candy like nature and good watermelon flavor. Overall a rather fun and refreshing brew overall.

 

Pours a medium pale yellow with a chalk white head that fades without with no retention...not atypical for the style.
nose is as advertised - Watermelon sour straws.
Taste follows. Watermelon sour straws through and through. Fades a bit toward the end to reveal a touch of wheat.
Delicious and easy drinking.
