Not a big fan of ginger in beer at all, but this one is decent. Funky/ginger mix.

Bottle dated August 20, 2016. Unintentionally aged for a year.

Slightly opaque, yellow gold. Pours with a finger of head which fizzles out very loudly. Leaves absolutely no lacing.

Ginger is predominant on the nose.

Very refreshing lemon tartness with a ginger bite. The two flavours really dance on the tongue. First you get hit with the lemon and then the ginger pops up which lasts long into the finish. Very dry mouthfeel and very little remaining carbonation.

Overall a really nice surprise. Crisp, clean and very refreshing. Actually really impressed that it still holds amazing flavour and simply lost most carbonation.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with no head or lace. The aroma starts with a nice blend of sour lime to ginger. Lemon juice notes slide in after a little bit of warming. The flavor takes the ginger spice to blend nicely with the tart yet sweet lime and lemon. Sly tart and sweet aftertaste with the same sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionabile to sipping feel about it. Low carbonation. Slight stickiness. Overall, nice creative regular sour ale. I’d have again.

375 ml bottle purchased at Winooski Beverage. I have been very impressed with the Casita beers I've tried so far. Pelirrojo pours a clear gold color with minimal carbonation. Flavors are very subtle and well-balanced and there is a slight funkiness. A really nice beer.

A vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch head which dissipates rapidly.
Very nice nose of lime and ginger.
Taste follows nose, damn this is nice.
This is where it falls flat ;).
Overall very nice, but a bit thin.
