On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza. Aroma is tart and fruity with peach, lemon and lime notes. Taste is tart and lemony with some yeast notes and light funk.

Bottle 2017 01 12 and served in my Spiegelau tulip. Pours lovely golden orange with a slight haze to the clarity and a fluffy, one inch, bright white head. Nose is pretty complex - burst of grapefruit upfront, followed by earthy/herbal/medicinal notes. Maybe a suggestion of funk and wine barrel notes. Taste consistent with nose - tangy, citric acid, tannins and more of the wine barrel (a white varietal I would guess). What I thought might be Brett in the nose doesn't transfer to the flavor profile; however, there's still a lot going on. Mouthfeel is light in body with an assertive acidity, a mild astringency, and a pleasant, even carbonation. All and all, an interesting and complex beer that packs a lot in a 6% abv. A nice surprise.
