Look; Like Dark Chocolate in a glass
Smell: Heavy on the chocolate and vanilla
Taste; Slight bitterness like Dark Chocolate that lingers on the pallet
Feel; Chewy building to a warm glow
Overall; Paired with Summer Sausage w/ Sharp Cheddar Cheese on saltine crackers, complimented well. An easy drinker. The brewery I.D.s as an Imperial Breakfast Stout which was not a style option in the BA drop down. I guessed an American Imperial as close enough.

A: Pours an extremely thick syrupy jet black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly along the edges of the glass and minimal hints of extremely dark cola brown + garnet red colored highlights. The beer has a tow finger tall dense foamy extremely dark mocha head that very slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of dark roasted malts with strong aromas of chocolate malts, coffee, lactose sweetness, and vanilla. Very rich and sweet smelling.
T: Upfront there are moderate to strong flavors of roasted malt along with strong flavors of chocolate malts and moderate to strong amounts of lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of vanilla along with strong flavors of freshly brewed coffee. Light amounts of roasty bitterness towards the finish that fades quickly leaving a lingering sweet coffee flavor.
M: Full bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and creeamy.
O: Delicious - this is an excellent and very enjoyable beer with a wonderful full creamy mouthfeel. Drinks pretty easily even though it is a big beer and more of a sipper due to the well hidden alcohol. Really nice combination of coffee, vanilla, chocolate, and roasted malts flavors + aromas with quite a bit of sweetness. Definitely would be happy to have this one again.

Appearance: Pours thick like syrup and black as tar with a dark, burnt orange head that rises to an inch and settles to a film; with each sip, the entire area touched by the liquid turns into a sheet of lacing
Smell: Dark chocolate with sweetened, charred coffee beans tempered by blueberry and blackberry tones
Taste: Dark chocolate and char overwhelmed by the fruity coffee tones, the blueberry and blackberry element is very sweet, making for a rather cloying finish
Mouthfeel: Thick and rich body with low to moderate carbonation; very creamy - guessing there is a lot of oat in the grist
Overall: I wish this was not so sweet as I like everything else about this beer, particularly the mouthfeel

Thick syrupy black beer with a dense brown head. Smells sweet, smoky with coffee and vanilla. Super sweet and tangy with coffee and vanilla. It seems to have a little smokiness to the flavor as well.
