Pours with initial head which disappears mostly, fruity grassy nose, slight dank, smooth body with nice bitter backbone.

Hazy yellow-gold with a thin, sticky white head that clings in rings. Aromas of melon, coconut, lime, and grass. Juicy hop flavors like tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, and melon. No malt to speak of, just easy-drinking, crisp, oily hop juice. Medium-light, frothy feel with a dry finish. Some intriguing hop character in this one and falls squarely in the "crushable" IPA category.

A: Pours a hazy medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly along the edges of the glass and slightly more than moderate medium golden yellow + honey orange colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a small to medium sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of juicy tropical/passionfruit, tropical/kiwi, stone fruit/apricot, and citrus/grapefruit hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of bready + biscuit malts with a light amount of honey-like sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of bready + biscuit malts with a light amount of honey-like sweetness and a hint of light fruit (pear/apple) sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of juicy tropical/passionfruit, tropical/kiwi, stone fruit/apricot, and citrus/grapefruit hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering fruity hop flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp upfront.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Very enjoyable with a nice malt base +just enough sweetness along with a pleasant (albeit not super common) hop flavor/aroma combination.

Appearance: After a nice bubble show the head builds to just over two fingers; underneath is a hazy honey colored liquid; excellent retention and wisps of lace
Smell: Bready, with passionfruit, pear and kiwi, with a hint of lime
Taste: Passionfruit and pear forward, with bready tones underneath; kiwi and lime flavors build, in the middle; a slightly grassy edge joins the fruit flavors in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with crisp carbonation
Overall: A light and refreshing IPA from Casita; really hits the spot
